Matt McCallum

Architect

Since joining Mikhail Riches in 2019, Matt has been involved in a wide range of projects at all work stages from net-zero carbon housing for City of York Council to the refurbishment of Park Hill Phase 4.

Matt studied at the Mackintosh School of Architecture with an exchange to Akademie Der Bildenden Künste in Vienna where his studio work was later exhibited at the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2018. Matt has worked across practices in London, Dublin and Glasgow on a wide range of projects such as the completion of new build passive houses and the conservation of Victorian and Georgian country homes for Tierney Haines Architects and the design of residential, mixed use, workplace and hotel schemes for Studio Kyson.

Matt is responsible for fulfilling social value commitments for clients and outside of the office, Matt makes ceramics and produces short films about architecture.
