Lisa McDanell

Architect

Lisa joined Mikhail Riches in 2020 and has spent the last few years working on the City of York housing projects; Ordnance Lane, Duncombe Barrsacks and Burnholme. She has worked on all stages of these projects, from conception to site.

Prior to joining Mikhail Riches, Lisa worked at Buckley Gray Yeoman where she delivered an art gallery hub in a block of listed buildings in South Kensington. She studied at The Bartlett School of Architecture and then the London School of Architecture, gaining first class honours and a distinction respectively. Her student work has been exhibited in the RIBA, Blueprint for the Future exhibition and has won an ideas competition for Peabody Housing which has been published in the AJ.

Lisa also enjoys teaching and mentoring and has been a guest critic at the Bartlett School of Architecture, Westminster, the LSA. She currently acts as practice mentor to an LSA student at Mikhail Riches, and volunteers with Arts Emergency.
